Colorbox

Setup in 2014 by TV and Cinema Post Production colorist James Norman. Colorbox is a boutique style color grading facility located in the heart of Istanbul, Turkey.

Its Flagship studio is equipped with a Baselight Color Grading system, a state of the art technology provided by Filmlight LTD, providing Colorbox with one of the best color management systems on the market.

Studio 2 comes with the latest Davinci Resolve Studio and Mini panel.

Colorbox uses FSI OLED technology for broadcast monitoring and a Barco DP2k-8s DCI compliant xenon projector for theatrical releases in our screening room. All video signalling is channelled through unconverted RGB 444 cabling to provide the cleanest signal.

Our Operators are also available on a freelance basis to work at other studios worldwide.

Services we provide at Colorbox

Conform

We provide a full conform service for your film. Utilising the offline xml/aaf/edl, we can conform in one timeline, multiple camera source footage and multiple camera resolutions up to 6k and beyond. Using our truelight color management system, we can convert all the different camera color spaces into one output color space, thereby speeding the color matching process.

Color Correction

Colorbox comes with 25 years of proven industry experience in color correction. Ensuring that you will get a beautiful looking film.

Using either the baselight or davinci color grading systems, we can provide a fast and very flexible service to meet the needs of even the most demanding of clients in a minimum of time.

TV/OTT Streaming Deliverables

Colorbox will render your film to any standard file based or clip based format. We can provide multiple color space renders so that your film will look the same on television as on the internet or the big screen. So whether the film is watched in a bright studio or in a dark cinema environment, it will look the same. Final Deliverables can be given disk-based or uploaded via Signiant Media Shuttle.

CINEMA DCP

Colorbox can render out your final DCP master with subtitles and sound. We can offer unencrypted DCPs for box office cinema film previews and festival releases.
